Return & Refund Policy

At Melanated Scripture, we believe that every product we offer serves as a testament to the truth and a celebration of the Good Way. We take great pride in the quality and representation of our apparel and artifacts. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you in ensuring your experience reflects the excellence of our mission.

1. Return Period
   We offer a 30-day return policy. You have thirty (30) calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
2. Eligibility for Returns
   To ensure the integrity of our inventory and the satisfaction of our community, an item must meet the following criteria to be eligible for a return:

• The item must be in the same condition in which it was received.
• The item must be unworn, unwashed, and unused.
• All original tags must be attached.
• The item must be in its original packaging.
• A receipt or valid proof of purchase is required.

1. Return Process
   To initiate a return, please contact our team at studio@melanatedscripture.org.
   If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note:

• Returns must be sent to the specific address provided in your return authorization.
• Items sent back to Melanated Scripture without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
• Melanated Scripture is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit if our provided shipping label and instructions are not utilized.

1. Damages and Issues
   We encourage you to inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the incorrect item, please contact us at studio@melanatedscripture.org right away. We will evaluate the issue and make it right to ensure your record of the Word remains untarnished.
2. Non-Returnable Items and Exceptions
   Certain items are excluded from our return policy to maintain safety and hygiene standards:

• Custom Products: Special orders, personalized items, or artifacts created specifically for your request cannot be returned.
• Personal Care/Perishables: We do not accept returns on beauty products, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
• Final Sale Items: In accordance with our brand standards, we cannot accept returns on gift cards or any items specifically marked as "Final Sale."

1. Exchanges
   To ensure you receive the desired item as quickly as possible, we process exchanges via a return and repurchase method. Once your return is accepted and processed, please make a separate purchase for the new item.
2. European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
   Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. The item must still meet the eligibility requirements (unworn, original packaging, proof of purchase) as stated in Section 2.
3. Refunds
   Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

• Approved Refunds: If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method within ten (10) business days.
• Processing Time: Please be aware that your bank or credit card company may require additional time (often 3-5 business days) to process and post the refund to your account.
